Money art is a form of revolutionary, political protest that has a long history across the world. Banknotes and other forms of currency have been defaced in order to state and share a message. Historically, those that have defaced currency include the Suffragette movement. Nowadays, it is not only viewed as a valid form of protest, but also a collectable art form.
