My Work
Workshops: Hire
For both adults and children, taking part in art workshops provide enormous benefits, from learning new skills to increased confidence, and you get to take home something you’ve created too! You never know, it may be the start of a new journey for you or a home gallery. I have run workshops in a variety of art mediums for all ages. I can also create bespoke designs for businesses and individuals, as well as children’s parties, to fit your budget. See my contact information below and get in touch.
Artwork: Own
My artwork is available to purchase direct from me or you can find selected works via my online shop
By owning a piece of my work you are expressing how you value the importance of being unique, and the value of owning something that is not mass-produced.
I can also work with you on bespoke commissions so that you get an exclusive piece of art. Contact me if you are interested in owning my artwork.
The Artist

Sarah J Harper’s work has been exhibited in the UK and internationally, her work has been included in exhibitions at the Saatchi Gallery, Tate Modern, Tate Britain in London, as well as other galleries around the UK, internationally, and online.
Sarah produces hand built ceramics in her studio, including a variety of ranges, some depicting hand painted animals. She also paints as a celebration of womanhood, of nature, and of her local area. Words often feature in her artwork, whether used as a message of empowerment, frivolity, or political importance.
Sweary artwork ranges include Animals, Landscapes, Landscapes Classics, Decorations, and Bubbles. They are created in a variety of media. Everyone has a naughty and a nice side, and profanity can be a marvellous and therapeutic way to express yourself!
She is one of the featured artists in the money art projects ‘Cash Is King’ and ‘For The Love Of Money Art’ books and exhibitions, using banknotes as a form of protest art.
Sarah studied mosaic, ceramics, printmaking, painting techniques, and other arts at college, and produces unique artwork under the name ‘Harper Bizarre Art’.
Sarah is a member of the ‘Secret Society Of Super Villain Artists’, a worldwide network of artists set on making a difference in the world while having a little fun doing it.
She has received two Community Civic Awards from the Royal Borough of Greenwich, she has had a tree named after her as part of The Lesnes Hundred project, and unrelated to her artwork, she is the proud recipient of a ‘Countdown’ teapot!
Her work can be found in London spaces in SE10 including ‘Made In Greenwich’. Sarah’s work can also be found at selected market spaces in the London area including events by ‘Art Plumstead‘ and at the ‘Royal Arsenal Farmers’ Market’.
